Digital Senior Account Manager

We are on the lookout for a Senior Account Manager who has digital DNA.

Savvy Global is a unique team with an unrivalled offering including a multi-brand & multi-sport client mix and is looking for a Digital Senior Account Manager to develop key accounts under the Savvy Global brand both in the UK market and overseas.

The Digital Senior Account Manager role is a cross channel, global, digital production led role, reporting into the Digital Project Director within the Global team. You will be directly responsible for best in class client portfolio building. The Digital Senior Account Manager role will also take an active and direct role in line-managing and mentoring core team members as a direct line manager, to grow the scale and effectiveness of the Global team.

You will:

  • Have a high profile with clients in terms of gaining respect and credibility with the main day to day client & other departments and peer groups
  • Be an impactful deputy for the Digital Project Director in their absence
  • Support your Digital Project Director in the successful delivery of the team’s agreed target fee income
  • Secure additional revenue, cross selling and identifying opportunities to further develop the account
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of Digital in regards to Brand Activation/Shopper Marketing/Advertising to the account team, and drive best practice and innovative thinking across these areas
  • Build relationships with your client contacts and utilise them to identify and influence new contacts and opportunities for growth
  • Manage a diversity of communication campaigns from start to finish
  • Demonstrate financial control/input to accounts from all aspects (WIP, debtor days, forecasts etc.)
  • Contribute to strategic proposals and demonstrate the ability to think as well as do on BAU activity and agency new business
  • Be capable of providing solutions to problems arising on client business
  • Ensure successful output of work, on time and on budget
  • Ensure your direct reports each have agreed objectives and development plans for the financial year complete with measurable and meaningful timescales
  • Maintain accurate fee, forecasting and delivery, and to review project content and cost of delivery where necessary
  • Be an advocate and super user for internal platforms – synergist, TeamGantt, Trello, Basecamp and others used by the wider client base

You Have:

  • Several years digital marketing and brand experience focused on a combination of the following areas: Sports Marketing, Digital Brand Activation, Digital Production
  • Direct experience on large advertisers working on multi market campaigns
  • Experience in effectively managing and nurturing day to day relationships with external stakeholders in technology & publishing
  • Experience in client relationship building and expectation management
  • Advanced knowledge and experience working with account planning CRM tools
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal, confident presenting
  • Experience and transferable knowledge in sports, gaming (all forms) preferred
