Insight Executive – Graduate Role

Insight is a jewel in our crown and we are ready to appoint a new subject

Together with the Insight Director you will shape the Savvy insight plan, discover insights into shoppers’ behaviour, retailers, our clients’ brands and market trends

Our Insight Executive will shape campaign planning, support new business efforts and develop Savvy’s thought leadership. You will be our brand and shopper virtuoso.

You’ll get to be comfortable utilising a broad variety of research tools and techniques, from desk research to the planning, analysis and interpretation of primary research – but having Insight experience is not a requirement. You don't need to have experience in this field to be successful in the role, just a willingness to learn and an appetite to progress.

You will:

  • Work alongside the Insight Director to help shape Savvy’s insight plan
  • Take ownership of Savvy’s in-house research programme including the Savvy Shopper Panel
  • Work hand-in-hand with Savvy’s planners to ensure the agency’s insight programme is aligned with their requirements
  • Establish close working relationships with Savvy’s account teams to identify and fulfil client’s insight requirements and support campaign planning
  • Maintain close contact with key people across Savvy’s business to ensure they are aware of latest insights and thinking
  • Create client facing insight reports to communicate latest insights and for use in business development
  • Identify and understand latest developments in insight tools and techniques, and marketing strategy
  • Have a view on market trends and developments
  • Under the guidance of the Insight Director, write white papers, blogs and thought pieces covering topical issues and insights

You Have:

  • An inquisitive curiosity that challenges the status quo and common assumptions. The need to know about new developments in methods, industry thinking and trends in our clients’ markets
  • A strategic mind, you’re someone who does not look at facts and figures in isolation but as part of wider campaign plan
  • Experience and are highly capable working with numbers and in using Excel. The ability to analyse data, extract key findings and present in a compelling way. Logical in approach with a keen eye for detail
  • The ability to command the respect of Savvy’s people and client stakeholders, at all levels of seniority
  • Experience client side and will be able to work with clients to understand their needs and business issues. To present back thoughts, opinions and insights in a concise and articulate way
  • Creative flair - at Savvy we’re all about ideas and so you will need to able to communicate with creative-minded individuals and assist in shaping the planning process that underpins campaign strategy
  • Some experience working with quantitative and qualitative research methods. Distil research findings to get to the real insights and their implications
  • Exceptional verbal and written presentation skills. Clear and creative communication of findings
