With the opening of their new flagship store in London’s Leicester Square, LEGO found themselves with more stock than shelf space available. They looked to us for a digital solution to extend the shop space and allow access to the full catalogue.
We created an endless aisle solution that allowed shoppers and consumers to browse products via two 52 inch touch screens in-store. The software solution meant products could be explored by specific themes and narrowed down in terms of particular interest. The system also allowed shoppers to call for assistance through an on screen call to action that would alert staff of the requirement through a text message to their smart watch.
The experience has meant LEGO is able to showcase their full range without the restriction of store size. The innovative solution was shortlisted for the Retail Week Interiors Awards for the best use of design with technology in-store.
